Tucked on the edge of Wire Mill Lake near Lingfield, The Wiremill was originally a 15th Century water mill, converted some years ago into the lovely pub it is today. With views over the lake from the pergola, it’s a stunning place to soak up the peaceful atmosphere while you eat and drink.

Better yet, stay overnight in one of our lovely hotel rooms – perfect for exploring the nearby High Weald National Park.

Accessibility Note: To help you plan your visit, please be aware that our pub features multiple steep staircases to reach the guest bathrooms. As a result, the venue is unfortunately currently not wheelchair accessible.

This converted dairy farm is now home to many different species of British wildlife, explore the park and take time to attend talks given by some of the keepers to learn more. This is a great spot for a family day out.

With stunning gardens that can be enjoyed all year round, Standen House and Gardens is a great addition to your trip to the Wiremill.
