our six funky rooms based in the very foundations of the original working mill.

The rooms have been created and designed by us from the derelict remnants of the Wiremill in 2009. Whilst the pub overlooking the beautiful 26 acre lake was going from strength to strength winning nationally acclaimed awards; Colin, Anthony, close family and friends were busy clearing our old timber and replacing it with contemporary rooms that were in keeping and sympathetic to the original look and feel of the building.

The final product is now six comfortable rooms, individually styled and in keeping with a friendly independent pub. Each room has it’s distinct character and you can click through using the links to see each room in turn. We have named the rooms after a type of metal in languages from around the world keeping to the historic tradition of The Wiremill itself and that our location is just 7 miles from Gatwick airport.

The rooms are ideal for a relaxing weekend getaway, special occasions, business trips and starting the holiday early before getting on or off your flight from Gatwick. Standard bookings include a range of breakfasts, complementary tea and coffee, free wireless networking, full use of the pub as if it was your home and a relaxing environment to escape the day to day.

At the same time we designed and created ‘Icon’ our private room. Used for dining, meetings, parties and special occasions its a great facility we can offer.

The Wiremill wins “Accommodation Pub of the Year” at the 2011 Publican Awards, London.

After walking away with the awards last year we really didn’t think we could pick up one of the most highly regarded awards in the industry for the second year running, but we did! The judges comments minored just what we have tried to achieve with the mill;

“The Wiremill team has transformed the basement of the pub into beautiful boutique-style accommodation. The pub offers modern, comfortable sleeping arrangements while retaining a traditional pub feel.”
