So what’s happening old bean?

Well, being a fresh new year there is plenty to look forward too in the Mill. The first key date for us is Valentines Day, this year on a Tuesday.

Mothers Day, 18th March 2012

The third weekend in March, hopefully the daffodils will be in full bloom and life will be buzzing on the lake. Last year it was a beautiful sunny day, we had 12 duckings, 5 signets and a family of water voles on the lake and all in all a fab day.

For obvious reasons we book up very early and space is a premium. We are doing a number of sittings this year to try and accomodate everyone’s needs, but if you know how many of you there will be and what time you would like to come, give us a call and book in. Our number is 01342 832263.

We will be running specials to our normal menu for the day, Jason and his team are just finalising that following their chef day on the 10th Jan, we will post it here as soon as its completed.

St Davids Day, Thursday 1st March 2012

We have chosen St Davids day as the day we launch on new Spring/ Summer menu. As always its a great time to be in the pub, seeing the new creations from Jason and the team hitting the tables and our customers reactions. To book your table, just give us a call.

Easter Weekend, 6th April - 9th April 2012

The chicks and young water life will be jumping into action as ever across the lake. Last year we had Ant and Dec, our two mallards born on the banks just by the terrace and they grey up to be shining examples of their name sakes, the real Ant and Dec who visited us last year for lunch.

Our new menu will be in full swing and fingers crossed the weather decides to shine, its going to be a fab one!

Early May Bank Holiday, Monday 7th May 2012

Bank Holiday weekends are alway fab at the mill. This year we are having live music on the Sunday night either in the pub or out onto the terrace. Booked artists will appear here shortly. This year we will also be serving a hot roast on the terrace, have special drink offers and a host of additional fun.
