Yummtastic good new British grub(!)

If you have not been to us before you there is something we need to tell you. Despite what you may have heard we are not a restaurant, bistro, cafe bar, fine dining establishment or boozer. We are quite simply a very good, respectable public house, in common language (as we like to use) one of Britain’s best pubs. You are able to eat in the entire pub, there is no specific areas for food only or drinks only and our menu is served everywhere, well almost everywhere, with obvious exceptions.

We pride ourselves on our team, our food ethics and our service to you. You are without a doubt the most important person in our pub and we will do everything we can to make your time and experience with us as enjoyable as it can be. 

Our menu changes with the seasons and we use locally sourced produce around the pub where ever we can. We have over 120 suppliers from small independent business to the big corporate boys. Jason and his team prepare everything on site and food is cooked to order. We are very proud of what we do and a whole ‘lot a lovin’ goes into making the dishes as great as they can be.

As well as the main menu for this season below and available to download we have special boards in the pub that focus on what we can by at the markets or what looks its best. These can range from special pies or vegetarian scrumptious plates to fish or meat. We can cater for individuals, couples, small groups, large groups, huge groups, tea parties, special occasions, not so special occasions but you still fancy going out, you name it, we can look at it.
